This is an old post card showing a saddle bronc and rider #100 at the Calgary Stampede maybe as early as 1918. The photo was taking by the Rosettis Studio.


Bob may have gotten this card from his uncle 'Heavy' Rae. Heavy Rae was a Champion Bull Rider. He owned a horse stable in Los Angeles, had lots of horses for rent, and furnished horses to various movie studios producing early day westerns. Bob introduced me to Heavy when I was around 13. He was a rough sort of guy. He greated Bob with a kick in the rear, and around they went. When it was all over, they were grinning and laughing
